My biggest problem with exchangeable blade knives is the fact that you've got removable, and thus easy to lose blades. When out working, I remove the saw guard from my German Army Knife because I know I won't be needing to use the can or bottle opener on the end, but always the saw, and if I am taking it off half a dozen times in one day, that's a half a dozen times it could disappear.
