You did all this with just a Spartan and some gun powder, right?

For you, that sounds like a very successful day mate  :D

Is there anything left of the old trailer, or have you replaced it all now  :P

All joking aside, glad you got it sorted a lot quicker than in some of your previous escapades

You know, a can or two of spray paint wouldn't cost very much.  We use the black, high temperature, BBQ grill paint for touching up scratched Jeep bumpers after trail rides, and it would also work a treat on your trailer. :pok:

I'd have traded a Spartan for some useful help at the store, does that count?  :-P

Well....

The deck and body are still original, although I need to replace the deck at some point as the wood is pretty rotten.  Also the axle, hangers and springs are original, although I will admit to having given serious consideration to replacing all of that.  A 1500lb axle (that included hubs) was on sale at Princess Auto for $125 and it seemed like a no brainer to get that instead of the two individual hubs at $65 each.  The problem with that was that I currently have a 2000lb axle with 5 bolt hubs and 5 bolt wheels while the axle on sale was only 4 bolt, which meant that I would have had to either buy hubs on top of the axle, or buy three new wheels and tires too.

This is the most expensive $500 trailer I own.... although the Apache is a close second!

When I replace the deck (probably next year) I'm going to strip all the old paint off it and give it a good coat of bedliner.

And then probably another good coat of bedliner, just because.....
