Day 3
It was a long office day again.
Only used the Spirit when I was back home, to open a letter.
I really like that PE blade of the Spirit  :tu:

Very nice blade , slices well , and a snap to sharpen , love it ! I also like the wire stripper/chisel tool . Not to mention the overbuilt bottle opener , that doubles for light duty prying .

A lot to like on the Spirit X !

Best Regards ,

Chris

 :iagree:
And I like your letter pouches Chris  :like:

Btw, I've tried the LM bit driver as you use it on the Spirit. And I think it only holds on to the very tip/end of the Phillips which is not ideal.

So I have an idea for Christmas I guess (Victorinox bit wrench).

Oh, that reminds me... I'll have a look at the LM removable bit driver I've once modified to fit the Wave and Rebar. To be continued later today...

I cheat , and put a  wrap of insulation tape around the phillips . If you can find one , they aren’t made anymore , the Old Skool Leathetman Universal Tool Adaptor fits perfectly on both the Spirit and Swisstool . I also use the Wera ratchet and the bit extender a lot , if I need real torque . You could also put in a thin piece of brass shimstock , a piece of Coke can also works , or even a piece of plastic from a take out coffee cup lid . I also have padlock shims in my pocket lockpick set . I would very much like to find another Leatherman Universal Tool Adaptor again .

Best Regards,

Chris

Yes, exactly. I had 2 old style ones and modded one of them to fit the Wave. :tu:
Fits like a glove onto the Spirit too (see arrow)...

Day 6 - slow day so it was mostly food prep. Made pancakes :D

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Day 6 clearing pathways in the reed bed. Spirit on hand to fettle my brush cutter.
There are quite a few toppled trees recycling themselves in the fen.

Day 06 :

My honey and I went out for a Saturday doughnut date. It's an October challenge, so naturally I used the Spirit to carve up a Pumpkin doughnut:

That last bit is intriguing Matt, if only for the question why you had to modify it to fit the Rebar - or do you mean it also fits a stock Wave?

Sorry, I've used the wrong term. I meant the discontinued Leatherman Tool Adapter.
I made it fit the Wave.

I'll see if it works with the Spirit and will post some pics later on.

Ah, clear now, thanks :tu:
Cheers!

Day 6

Very slow rainy day today and didn't get to use the spirit at all. Most interesting job of the day was getting grumpy face photos taken for my new driving licence.

Sneaky Spirit getting ready for another Refridgerator raid . Also a picture of another bit driving accessory that the Spirit can be teamed up with . The magazine Stubby / pocket driver , is another fine product of Switzerland , by PBSwiss . It usually lives in my pocket .

Best Regards ,
