I'm glad you're all OK. Don't forget to change the oil in your Generator every 2 days or so of use. It's recommended every 36 hours for most generators. I keep a case of 30 weight around for mine at all times.
JP here.We didn't get any damage to our place. The power has been out since Friday afternoon and is due back on Sunday evening. All is well and we got places to go.Lots of batteries, flashlights, candles and the such too. It was a beautiful day today. Thanks again to the boss for checking in. This is a great community and MTO is more than a forum.
We just delivered a large pile of soup to a low income building and now we are grabbing lunch before heading home and firing up our generator for our neighbors to charge their phones.Def
Bless you Grant. You're like an angel without wings.
We have written off everything in the fridge as well, although the fridge freezer and deep freeze downstairs are doing well. We went to a local store yesterday and bought big bags of ice to keep in them and that seems to be doing the trick.Def
Power was restored at 2230hrs on Sunday night! It went out around 1800hrs on Friday so that's what, 52 hours without power? Not too bad....Now that I have power again I am hoping my service provider can get my DSL connection back online so I can stop chewing my way through my mobile data plan! Def
