West Coast of Oregon trip!

Took a trip to Florence, the sea lion cave, and Thor's well.

Didn't play with any of the camera settings but probably should have.

To put it simply, it's cold, and I'm broke!

In all seriousness I have been really enjoying the weather, the people here are nice but it's definitely missing some southern hospitality.

There's no sale tax here, but they get you on things like registration and licensing for sure.

Still settling in on a job, lots of agencies and paperwork to go through.

I'm sure once you find a fishing spot or 3 you'll settle in.  I've never been to Oregon, looks beautiful.  Wishing you much luck on a job.  Southern charm is definitely a thing.  My youngest cam back from Texas, Houston area.  She was delighted at all the niceties.  Everyone and she said everyone was just a pleasant as the next.  She loved all the ( Y'all ) added to most every sentence.  She was called darling several times a day.  Lots of "gentlemen" too.  Doors opened and hats tipped.  Even from the young men.  It was wonderful to hear.  These Cali boys need to step up their decorum.
