Buck 110 lightweight

Would love to see some members opinions on the lightweight 110. I know some of you have them, and I trust you more than the general web I would love to get one sometime but have seen some stuff online about bad blade play. I love the 110 steel and blade. I am assuming that part is the same.

Hey GD, I just got mine about a week ago, and have just started to carry it on a frequent basis. It seems like an ok knife for the price, but not nearly as tough as the traditional 110. I haven't had much a chance to put it through its paces recently, but am planning to put it to the test in the near future, I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out. I can definitely say this, if you find one at the store, grab it up, because mine was the last one at the bass pro where I bought it, they sell like hotcakes at the store

I have two.  A clip point that was received just as sharp as any of my traditional 110s.  And then a special run by Copper & Clad with a Drop point.  Just as sharp, but less intimidating than the clip point in my suburban environment.

Both lock up well, blades are centered and have not noticed any blade play when open.  I have used for stripping down tree limbs for make shift walking sticks that later were fire fuel at camp :whistle:

Just received an email from Buck that the 112LT is now available.

WalMart do have the 110LT for less than $20.

One of our members did carry a 110 LT for the April Fools 110 challenge.  Maybe worth your time to review.

The 110LT is a Buck, made in the USA, lighter at about 2.5 oz, it is a Buck.  Mine have been fitted with lanyards.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Yes, Walmart may have them for $20, but try to find one there. I've had no success since they came out. Real bummer, because one of these, coupled with that Leatherman clip, and a kwik opener stud could put it on par with Spyderco, right?

I really like mine. Have not been carrying it due to my even great love for my Wenger SI!

But I do use it around the kitchen all the time. If were to carry something besides my SI, it would be the 110 LT!!!

No blade play or centering problems. I paid $30 at Cabelas for the one pictured. Recently grabbed a new one from my local Walmart for $19.97!!!  Back up unit just in case...

Use the Walmart app and look for it in local Walmart’s. That’s what I did. They had to dig around in the case under the knife display but they were there.

Once I put it in my cart, it told how many were in stock. There were three when I went after work at 3am to get mine.

Just checked and still two left!

Too bad shipping would make it cost as much as ordering from eBay!

I have a Smoke Jumper from SK Blades. It has a CPM-154 blade. I love it. I bought three of them. One had a blade that had play. Side to side and up and down. Not much but it was noticeable. I sent it back for an exchange. I like the red color also. It has been on my belt almost every day since i got it. It's a win win in my books!    :tu:    :D

I’d carry mine to work more but I can’t have the pocket clip hanging out. Might scratch the cars. I use a plastic dangler on my SI.

like others have mentioned, do not forget about the Smoke Jumper (154CM blade), the several 112LT variations that have been just released, the new for this month 112 Automatic and the CPM-20V limited drop point Buck 110 from this month too

Is that the P365?

I believe it is, as there is no texturing on the grip forward below the trigger guard.  I have been considering this model for EDC carry replacing a P250SC.

I would not hold my breath for a discounted 112LT.
Remember the 110 is Buck's flagship piece and found at several retailers at less than retail to attract buyers into the stores. 

Have  not seen a 112 discounted much unkess open package or a return.

Also, would not make much sense to release a 55 LT, the 55 as is, fades away into your pocket like many tradition pocket knives.

Yet, we can dream :whistle:

While I don’t carry my 110 LT these days, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t get used. It’s still in a kitchen drawer and is MY knife for cutting anything.
