Looking for some tips from the pros here...

I tried to take my first pic through the mag glass today and it was a horrible failure. I couldn't get my smartphone's camera to focus through the mag glass on the spider beneath. Any tips for getting good pictures?

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy phone and the original gray mag glasses if that makes a difference.

Try holding the mag lens flush with the phone's lens (whichever one it's using)

It takes some adjusting distance wise from camera to mag glass.  Some pics take me awhile to get.
