What is the shirt promoting? :think: 

That is a neat design for a fork in a SAK aside from the kind that "stick out" of the sides of hobo knives.  I somehow don't think a spoon split in two halves like that would work though :D

It might, provided you were eating something thick like chili or ice cream.... in any event, it would likely be better than nothing!

Is it possible to build a SAK with split implements like that? Any issues with the opposing backsprings?

You could use a 74mm model, which has opposing backsprings.
