Awarded. I may very well be an idiot . Tell me about that light please, yes both. That little copper? one is neat. Keychain carry?
Thanks.
The HDS Rotary is an awesome light, imo. It has 24 brightness levels that are controlled by the rotary tail. It also has a tail switch that allows you turn on at whatever brightness that the rotary is set at or 3 other modes that can be user set (mine is set for high, strobe and SOS). It is durable, well built and waterproof. There are several options that can be user programmed or turned on/off (momentary, locating beacon, etc). It can be purchased with a few different emitters, with the max lumens being 325. It does have a steep price tag of ~$300 and is a little larger and heavier than many other CR123/16340 flashlights.
The Niteye Mini1 is like many of the other small 10180 rechargeable keychain lights. The “vn” is because it was purchased modified from Vihn at SkyLumens which gives the choice between 7 different emitters (mine is neutral HiCRI). This one is brass, but it also comes in titanium. It has two brightness levels with high being about 150 lumen which controlled by twist (twist on to low then keep twisting to get high). I’m seeing that they have been discontinued, but SkyLumens does still have them available.
