Day 20:

Martin Luther King day!

Dr King was a big fan of Mac 'n Cheese. So today I made a batch of Broccoli Mac 'n Cheese.
(Not sure if he liked Broccoli, but I do!)

Ranger got used to trim the broccoli and open the cheese...

(Image removed from quote.)

Don't worry, not all of that cheese got used in the making of this batch*:

*actually......pretty much all of it did get used. The rest got used for pre-dinner snacks.....

Such is the fate of cheese

Looks good! I may try to make that myself.

Day 20. Heavy equipment maintenance at a bit smaller scale than I'm use to. LEGO just released this set at the start of the year, and ordered it from Amazon since my Walmart doesn't really stock Technic aside from the pullback cars that have no real mechanical features at all, aside from the gearbox sealed inside the big pullback motor piece. I plan to replace the weird implement (which resembles nothing I have seen) with something a bit more realistic. Thinking a Bush Hog. Simple to make, and without much modification to the actual tractor, other than yanking off the old "implement".

Nice Ranger and shot!

It looks good.  I love mac n’cheese and even like broccoli, but I’m not sure I’m game for mixing the two.

SOS, the broccoli pushes the Mac & Cheese right up to '11'.  :tu:

(sausage works, too, but is not, I'm told, a vegetable.)

Day 20

The Ranger helped make the new flashlight ready for carrying.  First I needed to cut a thin piece of rubber for using with my wrench set to change the bezel to my tritium one.  Then the Ranger also cut some paracord used to secure a clip and make a lanyard.

Tritium bezel sounds like a good idea. I usually kept a wrap of glow-in-the-dark tape, but it only lasted like a year before fizzling out.

Day 21

One end of the bolster is developing a deep shade of patina, so few seconds on the leather strop brings back the shine.

See that is where you need Jalapeño Spam.  The Jalapeños are the vegetable and add a nice little spice.  The spam rounds out the food groups to make it a complete meal.

This is tricky, I like Mac n Cheese, I also like broccoli and Jalapeno Spam...can I mix em all together?! :D

I had previously used gitd tape, but Constant glow and long lasting of the tritium is great.

This combo looks great, the bare aluminum has that light saber feel to it.  :tu:
