Day 2
Inspired by Fuzzy's and Jacks coffee talk I'm actually cleaning the filter holder of our coffee machine  :D

The PST Phillips driver worked flawless.
Nice usage. They sure do need a lot of cleaning!

Day 2:

Cut up a rag to cover the intake port in a turbo to keep crap out of it.
Cut a couple of hoses(no pics)
And filed of some burrs on a socket so it would fit the socketwrench :tu:
Sounds like you have had a busy day! :tu:

Day 2
Used the scissors to cut some Christmas decorations at a school function tonight (sorry no pics). Easy carry on the belt and does not attract any attention.   :salute:
I like that belt buckle! Neat looking!

This particular one will fit the PST, PST II, Minitool and the original Supertool, IIRC (maybe I've forgotten some?)
There is a Universal version of the adapter which also fits other models (in addition to those mentioned above, OG Wave I believe, plus probably others) and which I have tried to lay my greedy hands on, so far without success. Maybe others know more about the details.
Thanks! Will start looking for one then. Enjoy!

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,39869.0.html gives more info; also there is a review of the universal one written by Grant on the MTO site.
Cheers!

You've got some frost too over there, eh?

Yep, that time of year again  :tu:

Day 2  You guys get clumping with these? I'm not fussy either way, in fact i quite like it but this is the only MT i own that does it, to be fair when i'm carrying a Leatherman it's usually a Sideclip so this PST doesn't see any use whatsoever (since i broke the pliers), i'm guessing a bath and some oil wont hurt  :dunno:

Clumping?  Yes.

I'm not fussy about clumping either. In fact, I think clumping is helpful with accessing some if the smaller tools.   Perfect? No. But perfectly acceptable in this case...for my uses.

Day 02 (bonus material):

Good eye, Fuzzy!

I'm known for my extraordinarily good tea; however, it is true that I make shockingly good coffee.

Since you asked, I'll share my secrets:

1. Start with whole beans. These (below) are locally roasted and I know they are very fresh.
2. Grind the beans just prior to using. Beans start to lose their flavor as soon as they are ground. In camp use the handle of your hatchet like a mortar and a mug or bowl as a pestle. Here in the kitchen, an electric grinder does the trick in mere seconds.
3. Use fresh water. None of that Scottish bog water, mind you. Use pure mountain water (hopefully collected by wholesome virgins at dawn, but failing that other pure mountain waters will do.)
4. Add a pinch of salt to the water and bring it to the boil. Yes, boil the water first.
5. Add the coffee grounds to the water and boil for 4 minutes. Do not rush this step in your excitement to have the best coffee of your life; it must be 4 minutes. 4 minutes and 10 second is OK.
6. Let the boiled coffee rest for a minute or two. (Yes, more waiting, but use the time to hone the edge of your PST.)
7. Now pour the coffee into a mug and enjoy. If the odd coffee ground is bothersome, you could strain it through a sieve, but then.....maybe you shouldn't be drinking coffee in the first place........

(Image removed from quote.)

The coffee pot above looks like a percolator, but it isn't. I pulled the percolator bits out and tossed them in the bin. They are unnecessary . My other secret is to never wash the coffee pot. I rinse it out with cold water, but that's all. Never any soap.

Now you know my secrets and can make a shockingly great cup of Joe any time, any where. You are welcome!   :D

No, no, no, no, no... no. You didn't agitate before pouring! If you don't agitate, how you going to create the microbubbles!?!  :ahhh

(The spout of the coffeepot has a 'strainer' that does aerate the coffee to a degree. But I'm talking about coffee......not your fancy-pants Euro-espressos and the like. We don't worry about 'crema' here in Montana.......

Does that tool adapter fit all the Leatherman’s or is it model specific?? Thanks
Oh, very nice set up there!

I think it fits all the older tools apart from the Crunch, but there's a later version (without all the sticky-out bits and wot not) that fits most tools... but not the Crunch.
