Day 17

Solo 108mm  I started to collect more traditional knives from all the enabling in Edged forum, and in retrospect, have more appreciation to this 'barlow' from Victorinox offering.

Day 16

The kitchen Ranger in action.

Good use!  Only start doing challenges I start to appreciate using the larger blade for food, and the stainlessness of Vic steel is indeed perfect for this kind of chords.

Pretty sure it's a 'Camper' 234U.  That's the name that was used in the catalogs I  know of before and after that time frame. I generally think if it has a 5 twist CS that it's a Camper. 4 twist, and that's about the time that Campers got the saws c. '73/'74.

Yours is from '57+ and is probably at least '58+ with the 'v2' +PAT.  I'd have to see more of the knife to estimate how much later it might be.

Thank you for the input!  I could only very roughly guesstimate it to be somewhere between 50-70, based on some tools chart I saw on MTO.  Here are a few more pix which hopefully help:

Day 17

Light, but enjoyable duty For the blade on my Omega branded Wenger watch back opening tool - cutting the seals on two new Victorinox boxes (half price bargains from the usual suspect which came first thing this morning):

Day 17
I just got home from visiting a very nice military vehicle collection. It's a brisk 65 (18.33C) degrees out today so I had to put on a sweatshirt, but the Champion didn't mind the cold.
