Will Victorinox Fix a Midnight Minichamp Light?
on: November 02, 2019, 04:07:34 PM
I have a Midnight Minichamp that I like, but the flashlight (white light) no longer works.  I've replaced the battery (389) several times to no avail.  Is the light covered in Victorinox's lifetime warranty?  If I send it to them, will they fix it?

Almost certainly! :tu:
The fee is quite modest if it's somehow not covered.
I would send it in.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

I agree with Don Pablo, they will fix it.  I think it's an $8.00 fee, helps them recover shipping back.
I've had them fix two of mine.  One of them I even asked if they would replace the red LED with white and they did.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

They state electronics have a 3 year warranty. (Watches these days have 5)
So they might charge a repair cost
Emailing them directly to pop that question will get you all the answers you need :tu:

You might pop the scale off, and check and see if the light has corrosion. It's what killed my Wenger MicroLight Esquire. Rubbing down the contacts with alcohol and a Q-Tip got it working again.

Good suggestion!  I will try that first.
