That is 100% a Schrade DL-2 knife. It’s sized like the Victorinox SD, but has the best small size scissors of any of these mini keychain knives. It’s a backspring scissor, similar to Wenger, except the spring has its own backspring. So the scissors don’t bob when you cut, like Wenger scissors do. They’re extremely sharp and have very precise, pointy tips. These scissors blow away the Vic scissors of the same size. Between my dl2 and my minchamp, I’ll pick the DL2 every time if I need to trim my nails. And yes, made in USA. Charles.
Update. The Eagle Scout knife you’ve shown is made by schrade and is marked dl2, but identical knives with that same spring scissor were made by Cammilus. I wonder if schrade sold the tooling, and there was an interim period where cammilus used the leftover schrade blade blanks. Charles.

Amazing info everyone especially from ChopperThe depth of knowledge never ceases to amaze me.Sorry for the frustration over the pic size limit and thanks for persevering. The size restriction is to limit the size of the MT.o (image) database and therefore save the site money - and also tech issues. We do not archive images - So every year our hosting costs increase.
I understand that, but a simple javascript image resize module would save a lot of frustration for mobile users especially. Hit post, the resize happens on the client user’s machine, and the smaller image is uploaded. On a pc I can resize easily, but on mobile I have to email it to myself and choose medium resolution, then re-download it. There is also no way to tell file sizes before uploading. So, please consider implementing something like that. There are plugins available for most forum software platforms. (I used to host cx500forum.com and tw200forum.com)Charles.
