Day 28

Later on, I sneaked into kitchen when Mrs. just finished making some homemade baguette, seeing how dirty was my knife on Swisstool from all the box opening, she refused my offer to cut the bread and kicked me out of the kitchen.  I ended up cleaning the blade with lightning speed, and came back to have a good bite before it gets cold.  Nothing beats good bread fresh from the oven.
(Image removed from quote.)

That baguette does look mighty tasty.  My Mom does a lot of baking.  When I was young, I loved getting fresh from the oven bread.  It was even better than many sweets kids love.

Day 28
Do you need to send Pope a letter?
(Image removed from quote.)

Cool pic

Marble letterbox? Has to be for the Pope (or his Nuncio at any rate!) - nice pic, Jnoxyd!

Day 28

After a morning in the garden, I thought it was time to take the first of the rhubarb- sadly no butter in the fridge, so crumble will have to wait until next week’s harvest. In the meantime, Spirit X plus’s butter knife blade made short work or dicing these stems up, so stewed rhubarb and custard for later, with enough left over to enjoy with ice cream later in the week! Yum!
  My Dad loves my Mom’s rhubarb pie.  She was talking about making him some as soon as she got her hands on some rhubarb.

Swiss Fuzz Day... 28?

A cold raw sort of day here, but giving the veg patch a right good going over with a cultivator soon warmed me up. Swisstool watched from the sidelines...

Knowing you a little better now, It's interesting to here what you were doing when I made that first post.  I'm still grateful for that warm welcome ziod, and the GREAT extended family that came along with it.

Thanks Nix, the pouch is not as pretty now as then , but it sure has a lot more character.  I don't find I need to be loaded for anything as often any more.  Even so I still enjoy sporting it from time to time just because I can.
It's always fun to see the reaction of others when I start pulling tools out.

:hatsoff:  Day 28 - Oldest daughter’s birthday today (29th), tough not being able to visit.
Sheltering in place is tough, especially on grandpa and missing the grandkids as I am.

Today at lunch my wife and I shared an apple and the Spirit sliced it to be shared.
Unfortunately no pictures of the event, yet have one apple left.

You AWL stay well!

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Looks tasty, Comis and nice work, Barry!  More good uses and pics,

Day 29

Thought it was time to rearrange last weeks bird food delivery, so used the scissors on the Spirit X plus to cut the thread stitching on the sacks of sunflower hearts and peanuts - much to surprise, they all pulled out with no snagging as can sometimes happen. At least the peanuts are now out of the plastic sacks they came in which can encourage them to sweat in my conservatory, and are now in paper sacks which let them keep better.
