Those are some great photos- I have had a couple of roommates over the years that acted (and smelled!) like wildlife, but that is the closest I have ever come to living in a zoo!

My job is sometimes an adventure unto itself. A few years ago I drove from our place in Ottawa to Bathurst, NB in a blizzard to do a job. It's about a thousand kilometers (650 miles) door to door from my house to the work site, and the roads across northern NB are pretty bad at the best of times. Driving them in a blizzard is not recommended.
This was the motel:

You can see some of the snowbank in front of one of the doors is a bit cut down where I had gone through it the night before.

I think we ended up being in the hotel for almost a week before they could actually get the ship into port, at which point she promptly froze into place.
That part of the pier looks relatively clear of snow, but this is the part I was working in.

They had to carve that path through the 12 feet of snow to allow me to sample product from that conveyor. You can see the six stairs I have to climb for a bit of scale.

This was the view from my motel window. Again, it looks clean, but that's because this was the side the wind was on. The opposite side of the Jeep was buried up to the windows.
And, while driving at night, I had wondered why my headlights seemed really dull...

Despite getting my Jeep stuck in several places (including the motel parking lot) we eventually got the job done and started the long drive home.... in another blizzard.
