remember peanut lighters?
on: April 03, 2020, 05:11:15 PM
I've been searching for a split pea lighter before the current end of the world began. I want the original thing made by maratac (is that right? ) and not a chinese versions. While those work well they are not made from steel and I don't like that. So is there any source of those that don't cost a leg and an arm to get to Europe?

Anyway when this end of the world ends I intend to put together a micro neck edc kit (lighter, sak classic and a light)...

I have a few peanut lights that I have dispersed in emergency kits.  I edc a Zippo with butane insert but do still like the peanuts being small and air/water tight.

Unfortunately, i do not know a source for the split peas in Europe.

I think CountyComm has them.
Rather mundane quote entered here to approximate humor.

I use mine as a backup to mini bic in my main edc setup and it's great. But for this I need the smallest and most robust lighter available.  :D

As far as I can tell they do not ship to Europe.  :(

Here you go Lister:

Thanks! Now just wait till the end of the world ends and see if you Brits are still willing to do buisiness with the continent. :D

This is going to hurt my wallet... Peanut lighter is 20 pounds and I'll probably buy two. And then there are other items I might like. Damn you Fuzz!

 :D

Ps: Also since you Brits divorced the EU I presume I will have to pay some kind of import fee or something right?  :(

I bought one. I wanted two but there was only one in stock. Now for the long wait while the postal service tries to avoid all the zombies and the rest ofthe end of the world problems...
