Good uses and lovely photos!

Day 13

Spent most of the day at the keyboard, but had some time to un-bend the awl, main blade and small screwdriver bit on the can opener on my newly acquired’76 soldier - deft bit of hammering and bending in the flaws of a vice..... not perfect, but at least usable again! Touch of sharpening, and ready to join my squad

Nice shots!  Rizio that’s a great looking squad!  I love the old soldiers.

Day 13

My wife started a new role at work today, and tomorrow’s her birthday, so here’s the largest bouquet of flowers I’ve ever bought.

G-Dizzle - nice colour matching! Barry, you are not alone....

Day 14

Used the can opener’s mini-screwdriver on the OC Pioneer to tighten the pozidrive screws on my back door lock which keep loosening themselves for some reason :dunno:

Day 14.  This was going to be a bonus pic for me from yesterday, but I'm in training all day today without any chance to post, so I'm using it for today.

Took a mountain bike ride with my kiddo last night and enjoyed refreshments on the Jeep's fold-down table afterwards.  Fall colors were peaking in my part of the state and we had a great time.

Day 14

Getting cold here, and had to break down and get a space heater for my makeshift work at home office on the porch.

Day 14: Had to work late (“virtual” parent-teacher conferences), but at least they brought us food.

:). Kind of hard to believe, but until I found this site and the lure of the Alox that's the only thing I'd ever used the awl for

Nice work, y’awl!

Day 15

My turn to use the awl to break down some boxes - just had a delivery of wildlife food (peanuts, sunflower hearts and fat blocks) which should keep us going for a couple of months..... OC Pioneer does the honours - this one has a slightly shorter awl (doesn’t look damaged/regrouped) than the soldiers do, but no less effective!

Thanks HD, I like it too!  It's very close to the 2020 LE, just a slight difference.  It's got the same front scales on both sides.

Happy anniversary Barry!  I meant to ask how you liked the cigar you cut with your knife.  I've been using a punch lately for my favourite size, Robusto.  I only started using it because there was one built into a new lighter I got.
