Springfield

Think when my dad was in the Marines they used these right before they got switched over to the M16. At gun shows he always takes a long look at the m14s on the tables.

My pride and joy. Ever since I sold my H&K 94 right before the ban happen, I have always wanted another. Last year I picked this one up and have not regretted it at all.
Wanting to keep everything in 9mm as much as possible I found this Glock, a complete build up with Zev parts. The only thing left of Glock is the frame.

It is a MKE out of Turkey who are licensed by H&K to make them. H&K provided the machinery, blueprints, and they randomly inspected them.
H&K released this year the SP5 to the market here in the US.
The Glock is set at 3 pounds or 3 1/2 pounds IIRC.

2019 . I assembled not one, but 2 ARs.

Aero Lowers , CMC trigger single stage, Toolcraft bolt carrier groups, and Geissele springs. Magpul furniture.  Once you buy the tools, vice and armory wrench it's simple to assemble them. I could build a couple more , just gotta hit those deals around 4th of July, Memorial Day and such.

I went Palmetto State on the stainless barrel upper on one for accuracy, the other I used a Smith and Wesson upper and a FN cold hammer forged barrel (FN16A-A48)  with BCM handguard.

Nothing quite like a good wheel gun.

You shoot a lot of Magnum through that?

I have a 360PD and never shoot Magnums though it anymore.

Not sure if I showed these yet...

I know I showed using my Surge to tighten the pistol grip on the gray one.

Assembled 2 AR-15s.  Now to try my hand at an AR-10. This followed me home from my LGS this afternoon.

I'll probably go Aero on everything except trigger group to make sure everything fits accordingly. I hear AR-10 platforms it's best to stick with same companies for tolerances.

Aero makes good receivers. You shouldn't have any problems. Make sure you get an AR-10 lower parts kit and AR-10 accessories.

Just bought my first 7.62x51 magazine. Pmag 3rd gen, 20 round  :D

Checked out ammo at the local Academy. Steel case runs about 51c a shot where the good stuff can go up to 2 bucks per shot.

Big boy mag. For that caliber anyway.

I wanted to build an AR10. I calculated it to be about $625 for everything except shipping/taxes. So maybe $700 grand total.

But then my FFL said he had ar15 lowers so I had to go that route.

The .357 hollow points are only for special occasions these days, .38 special is enough

My thoughts exactly! I’ll throw a .357 round once in a while when we’re shooting, but I’m cheap and put the .38 in the targets.

My oldest gun is the Beretta 950. It is an excellent pistol that I got as a present from my father. It was my first gun, and I read reviews on [link removed] to know more about it. Many people are surprised to discover that this gun was introduced in 1952 by Beretta Italy. The grip and shooting characteristics are so good that you will never think that the gun is so old. Mine is twenty years old, and it is still in good condition. I always take care of it and clean it after I have used it. It helps to make it work more.
