Greetings from Brazil
on: May 30, 2020, 06:07:49 PM
Hello folks! Greetings from São Paulo state, Brazil.

I'm a software developer. My younger brother, who used to be a scout, is the one who has been collecting Victorinox Swiss Army knives so I was looking for some uncommon models for him over the web and found this forum.

He would be interested in buying/selling SAKs from you guys. He can't speak English, though, so I guess I'll take the trouble of mediating the trades with you. :)

I'll be sure to read the forum rules about Donations and other rules.

That's it :)

I haven't told him about this forum yet, so I'll check with him which tools he has for sale and let you guys know. I'm not much sure about how we'll handle payment; we have an international credit card but don't have experience buying  from regular people, only from Amazon. So any tips are welcome!

  welcome.

I have had the pleasure of visiting your country a number of times (for work) and had some lovely experiences - great food, very good beer. Never got to travel there as much as i would have liked, but hopefully in the future I'll get back.

Hi, piovezan!

Welcome to  :MTO: !

I think most people selling and buying from this forum(or ebay) do favor paypal as a payment form, so maybe it would be beneficial to setup an account to do that.

Thanks!

My dad's family comes from Treviso, Italy (I mention that because I mistook your profile's flag from Italy, it's actually Ireland). We're not very traditional though, e.g. we don't speak the dialect; other descendants from south of Brazil do that more often. The most Italian thing we do is eating the fine Italian cuisine :)

From Ireland I can't skip to mention anything other than Guinness! Though I had the opportunity to enjoy Wexford Irish Style Cream Ale, it's very smooth. I think it's from a British brand though.

I'll take the opportunity to thank everyone for the warm welcome and accept the recommendation to set up a PayPal account. Thanks!
