 I'll play, but you will need to be a little more specific.  :D

Awesome.

I have a feeling you are in good company here and there are probably many members that have similar hoarding practices.

Nice - A lot of variety there Yadda. :tu:

A few questions if you will    ???   :D

Are you having a sort out? Or are they always like this?
What tools are in the flat leather-like wallets (bottom right second pic)?
Is there any theme to your collection?
What percentage of the collection are users?

Thank you.

Are you having a sort out?  I guess you could call it that.  I decided to get them all out and look at them.

Or are they always like this?  No. They are usually packed up in plastic shoe boxes. I have aspirations of building a lighted showcase.

What tools are in the flat leather-like wallets (bottom right second pic)?  Those are knife multi tool kits.

Is there any theme to your collection? Chaos?   Not really. I buy things I like when I can get a good price. I like pliers multitools better than others.  I only pick up SAK's when they are in a lot with something I want. My pocket knife preference is the muskrat.

What percentage of the collection are users? Probably less than 2%.  I like gadgets. My job doesn't require tools and my non work activities are usually better served by single use tools.

Great questions Huntsman  :tu:.  Thank you for the answers Yadda.  Its nice to get out all the tools once in a while.  I do this often just to see what if any reaction I have to them is.  Sometimes I  while other times I'm  :woohoo:.  Just yesterday I had a little peak at mine.  My collection has slowly decreased in some areas while increased in others .  The good thing about having a look is I realize there are some items I wanted yet never got around to getting and there are some items I no longer really want to continue to acquire.

Just as electic and not really as specific as mine is.  I wish I'd gotten one of that Kobalt 4-in-1s with the rubber insert. I passed, as at the time these were available, we still had a Sears; and they had the USA-made Craftsman for just one dollar. Should've bought the whole case my Sears had back then. I bought two, lost, one, then found a ca. 1980s one on an old keyring no one used, and then used that to replace the missing one.  I did, however, buy the card tool with wrenches and a bottle opener; that pretty much, just weighs down my current wallet so I can tell it's in my pocket. I can't recall, so far, having used a thing on it.

Did Bear and Son have anything to do with the bladed Loggerhead MTs? As the blade profiles are EXACTLY the same as the Bear Jaws; and from what I'm seeing, they were supplied with nylon web sheaths with the leather logo tab, again, just like a Bear Jaws.

I carry a Craftsman 4-in1 on my keychain, it came in a set of screwdriver my Dad gave me.  I bought that Kobalt 4-in-1, the pry bar, and the card Multitool on markdown after Christmas several years back.    Good eyes spotting some of those items.

No idea about the Loggerhead.
