Not sure I would "lend" many people any of my LM for 30 Days :think: :D but hypothetically a Wave would be a good one for someone to get to know LM and MTs in general much better :cheers:

It makes a good representative for MTs as a whole :tu:

I did buy my nephew one of them several years ago and he always has a LM with him now :cheers:

I've had similar thoughts about SAKs.

I'd go with the Wave... ergonomics is key with this exercise.  fairly compact, well equipped, not fiddly.  Its in the sweet spot of... has enough to be useful, but not too much to be a burden.

I put in another vote for the Wave.  I think the Wave gives a good feel for LM current models.  The Wave is like the base model of what I would consider LM’s current top 3 (Wave, Charge, and Surge)

Wave, no contest. If they like it a lot, maybe they upgrade to a Charge..but the wave has all the same functionality. I can't think of another one I would hand someone.

Ok...I lied..if I knew they were someone who hated things that weighed a lot, it would be the Skeletool CX.

Wave can pretty much do it all and then some.

I have LMs of all sizes and while I prefer a Surge or ST300, many people want lighter weight and smaller MTs. Wave fits it and with many tools.

Yep... that would be me.  I prefer lighter tools, usually.  I don't like to weigh my pockets down.

Lowest value LM in your collection. Typically, I don't loan someone a knife, I just give it to them outright, and usually, I know that individual well, and I have spares of that ool. .  Beater PSTs are a good size, since they have a good toolset, and can be quite cheap used, and I have a spare that may be going to a new home soon. Else, I'd say Rebar, since for a slight girth and weight increase, you get two extra tools (saw and serrated blade) as well as all locking implements.

1. Wave.
2. If money is tight then I would pick up a Rebar.
3. If money didn’t mater and you want to treat yourself then I would pick Charge.

They are all great choice and are readily available.
