Charge problems
on: August 18, 2020, 12:31:22 AM
Just bought a Charge TTi plus and the file wouldn’t sit all the way home in the closed position, on investigation there was a burr on the floor of the inside of the compartment stopping the tang fully sitting home. I managed to remove the burr and all was good but then I noticed the serrated blade had up and down movement when locked open , this is due to the lock bar being weak and not extending fare enough to engage the lock face of the blade. If you force the bar over it hits the blade but then springs back when you release it. Bit disappointing on a tool that costs so much. Think I’ll send it in for warranty

Sorry to hear about the issues.

Those thing cost a pretty penny. The QC needs a bit more attention.

Sorry to hear it, Dunc  LM qc has not been the best in the last few years would be the understatement of the year I am afraid :-\ Tools that cost as much as that should be as near to perfection as possible  :ahhh

Hope you can get it sorted  :salute:
