Be gentle people a newbie here.
My name is Keith. I am 70 and retired. Ever since I was a boy of 9 in '59 I have loved precision stuff. I recall being taken to the Cubs as a lad. The inducement was a brand-new fixed blade Scouts knife. It had a bone handle, stainless steel quillon and a beautiful shiny sharp blade with a "blood" groove. It was in a tan coloured leather sheath which slid over by belt and it had a loop with press stud to hold the handle. Although I didn't stay long in the Cubs or transfer to the Scouts, that knife stayed with me and ended up in my tool box which was stolen in '73 from work. It was immediately replaced with a high-quality folding CK Penknife which I still have today, although it is a little worse for wear now and could do with a bit of repair. Any suggestions for a good repairer? Over the years I have bought a few SAKs and still like them.
Best regards....Keith
