Been looking at the Magic Winter X as has just started to appear here in the “land down under”, it is more than double the price of a Pioneer X Alox here, With 10K produced is it expected to appreciate in value? Just found a “Davy’s Gray” at similar price which seems like better proposition?

I only buy (collect? Hoard!?) Vic knives that I like, and I don’t see them as investments...... But that’s just me. If you like it, buy it, otherwise pass.

And yes, it's a real beauty, and knowing that Victorinox only changes the pattern on their alox scales once in a blue moon, it's bound to be "special" for years to come...

Edit: and I don't know if this has been said here before, but I do like the grip on these handles. I mean, they even feel to offer more grip than the regular alox scales (I did only handle mine for 10 minutes or so, then misses TG-24 wrapped them in wrapping paper because they are a Christmas gift from her for me).
