To answer a different question in the same way...What is my Unicorn SAK?A Compact with a small blade. The combo tool normally takes the place of the small blade. But I would like to have both. orA Pioneer X with a combo tool and a small blade instead of the opener layer.one can only wish.
That's something I've wondered. Is the awl really worth it in place of a blade? I guess for the Swiss brass it is, but is it for most people?
This is my dream SAK. Apparently it's a SwissChamp that was made for the Victorinox centennial from what I've read. I've never seen one in person, and I don't know anyone with one.I've only seen this photo on the internet:(Image removed from quote.)As to why, I think it is beautiful.
Oh, it’s one of the best knives ever made by Victorinox! Let me consider him my dream SAK too! I hope it has real solid sterling silver scales unlike famous Tiffany one with plastic under a thin silver layer. I only know one person who has it, Michael Young, and he shown his SwissChamps in his book:(Image removed from quote.)
Very beautiful SAK!Do you have any information about the customization of this SAK?
The only information I know about it is from jnoxid's post:
I found some similar SAK pictures,Deluxe Tinker
I’d buy a Cadet X if it were available.
Oh my! That is so beautiful. Interesting that the scales are on a Deluxe Tinker, I thought it only came on the SwissChamp.Would love to add either knife configuration to my collection.
Well said, pipedreams! Why not have a custom Cadet X made? It'd probably save you some time waiting for a factory release.
