Can't you download patents from the US Patent Office free?  Then, if you have a printer, couldn't you print off your own?

Just ask someone in the copy and print department you just need a few sheets.  Its like $.08 a sheet.  Keeps you from having to buy a whole ream.  I used to work as a manager for Office Depot.

There's a guy who pops up periodically on ebay selling patents on CD. The one I keep seeing is all of Leatherman's patents (so it shows up when I search for Leatherman), IIRC about 80 of them.

I've been tempted a couple of times, but not done it so far.
I used to come here a lot.
