I never knew he came from Sudbury...just a measly 3.5 hours away...practically neighbours.

I am certain they will never see this, but condolences to his family.  :salute:

I've been watching Jeopardy on Netflix . Really saddened to hear of his passing.

There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

This one was a tough one. I was in high school when he took over the show, full 70's porn moustache and all. Iremember that time well. Such a calm and gracious presence on TV. Wry, deadpan humor. Suffered a few heart issues, too if I'm not wrong. And I bet a lot of fans of the show would be hard pressed to reconcile his persona with the fact he often simply drove a pickup truck.

I know the show must go on, but he really was that show. It would have been just another of rebooted trivia game show without him, and we knew very early on that he was a classic
