Just getting a feel for how many people would be interested in getting a 2021 MTO Calendar :salute:

It is MT and or SAK pics :cheers: They are taken by our own members here and we nominate or get nominated for pics each month then at the end of the month we vote on them :tu: Top 3 are usually taken and then at the time of the calendar being put together 1 of those 3 makes it in :D

Well folks... if we can't get a pre-order of more than 20 then we may not be able to get a calendar this year :-[

One reason for the low interest might be the pictures chosen for the calendar. The SAK forum is almost double the size than the Leatherman forum, making it by far the biggest sub forum on MTo. The “Show your SAK” in various locations threads are always well visited and commented. And yet there are 5 month with a Leatherman tool and only 3 with a SAK.

Looking through the galleries, there would also be much better pictures for use in the calendar, than the ones that were chosen by the mods  :dunno:

I know. But if i understand it correctly each month a Top 3 is established. And the photos for the calendar are picked from these 3 photos.

The thumbnails that we see following Steve’s link are the chosen ones for that month, right? Or am I seeing the wrong photos?

Mods don't choose the pics, members who follow and vote on the calendar polls choose the the top three, Def makes the final choices to reflect the wide variety of tools that MTo represents.

The thumbnails that we see following Steve%u2019s link are the chosen ones for that month, right? Or am I seeing the wrong photos?

The thumbnails are only one picture of all the pictures for that month in the file and not the top pick for the month. If you open the folder you will see all the pictures for the month. If you want to see the top three for each month the poll threads are in the shutter shop.

Ok, I thought the thumbnails we are seeing are the chosen photo for the respective months. Kind of like a calendar preview.
