I just recently discovered the spanish brand Albainox launched a new line: Tokisu.

Apparently a step up on the other offers they have. The Tokisu has 7Cr17Mov steel, G10 handles and is somewhat inspired in japanese design.

Has anyone tried any of the models? Are they any good? I must say I dislike the "traditional" Albainox knives. I find them of very poor quality. That's what has stopped me trying one of these new models.

Let me know your thoughts on these.

I assume they are made in China, by the steel and the look.

I have seen similar looking products, rebranded by various companies. I would expect that if they are made at a decent factory, like the ones making SRM, Spyderco etc. and the required quality and specs is reasonable they should be OK.

It's a fairly new line of products, I believe.  I noticed them, by chance, in a small store, a few weeks ago. Only after some googling did I found it was an Albainox product.
