After being disappointed in not even getting Cyberpunk 2077 to grace my computer screen, and getting a refund from STEAM afterwards, I was looking for something to fill a gaming void. I spied Halo: The Master Chief Collection for a mere 29.99 Canadian. I was always curious about Halo, and not having a console at the time, was not able to play it. I guess they did import a few Halo titles to PC but for some unknown reason, always assumed it was mainly for consoles with those finicky joypads. I figured I would take a chance with the refund money, and what a stellar game this is. I just finished the prequel called Hallo Reach, and am currently starting the first title that came out back in 2001 called Halo Combat Evolved. The campaign is really really good. I wasn't prepared to like this as much as I am. I guess I shouldn't be all that shocked seeing that Halo made a big splash when it first came out. Anyways, I can heartily recommend the Master Chief Collection at any price, but for 30 dollars, it is a no brainer if you like first person shooters.
Included with the collection are the following titles:
1. Halo Reach.
2. Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary.
3. Halo 2 Anniversary.
4. Halo 3.
5. Halo 3 ODST.
6. Halo 4.
I like how you can install the games you want as well as the campaign mode or multiplayer for each title as far as I can see. Halo 4 just came out this year. I am curious to see the differences in each title as time progresses.
so unlike Cyberpunk 2077, I can easily recommend Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
