Confession time:

When I ordered this beauty, I meant to order the S30V blade. I thought I had. However, the next day, when reviewing the email receipt, I noticed that the receipt said "420HC".

Now, to be clear, I really like Buck's 420HC. The more I use it and other steels, the more I've come to appreciate Buck's 420HC. For a moment I though, "ah, well, there's no need to change that."

But....S30V is considered a premium steel and I thought that for a commemorative knife, the S30V steel was more appropriate. So, I shot Buck a quick email stating that I had made a mistake and didn't catch it until after I had placed my order. Clearly my fault, but could Buck help me change the order. I expained that it was meant to be a prize in a commemorative forum GAW. "Please just send me an invoice for the more expensive steel."

Buck replied with something like, "No problem, we got this."

Sure enough, this year's 110 is in Paul Bos heat treated S30V.  :tu:

I'm still waiting for that invoice.

Just a quick question to confirm something, can we use more then one 110 or do we have to stick to the same knife throughout the challenge?

I like using just one....but anyone can use as many 110's as they wish. Just post a photo every day!

I’m trying to source a 110 drop point to test out for the challenge as it would be fun and different
