Unusual SAK scale colors

Searching through my hoard I found 14 unusual scale colors (limited to solid cellidor, 91mm):



I know of several others:
  • A few shades of teal, e.g. Motorex, Rittmeyer, some Dutch company, etc.
  • Lime green, BLS
  • Uncommon colors in the Chinese zodiac series
  • Pale blue, purple, pale yellow (WOOOWW series)
  • Grey, same series as orange, aubergine and olive drab green
  • Bright red (Elinox), not really uncommon I think, but it's missing in my collection
  • Pale green/lime (?), Phoenix Contact logo
  • Baby blue, Walter Meier logo

I sometimes wonder about the stories behind those scales. Victorinox does not officially offer those colors for advertising purposes. But I guess if you bring in enough truckloads of money anything is possible :)

Translucent scales, 91mm. This pic also contains the regular colors :facepalm:
And I wish that Rose Edition SAK was 91mm as well!



And the Fieldmaster Mexico features a different shade of onyx/grey/black:

Some great colours Reinier, the blues particularly

Really like the translucent turquoise, only ever seen it in 58mm before. In 91 I’ve only got the standard ruby and sapphire

I've had my translucent green Signature Lite for 21/22 years - it was an official colour, but I've not seen anything else produced in it for almost as long, now.

Those are some pretty sweet scales.  I especially like that lime green translucent and the blues.

Green was always my favourite colour, so when I had the chance to snag one I couldn't resist. I was disappointed when the bug took back hold again in later years and they'd seemingly scrapped it.
