Found my Pulse...
on: January 17, 2009, 07:10:05 PM
Hey,

Came across this Pulse going used online.... Seemed to be a nice mid-size tool. It arrived today. Its got a few battle scars but there's plenty of life left in it yet.

Wonder why they discontinued it? Seems like a winner to me!

There are a couple of tools Leatherman should have kept in production IMO. Pulse being one of them Juice KF4 the other. Nice score on the Pulse :tu:

Nice deal on a pulse getting one used with some scars. That way you will be more apt to use it! I actually like mine and really enjoy carrying it!

I had one and I loved the size, the tools and the rolled edges, but I just couldn't get on with those locks.

It has a better home now.  :)

Hey MM  if there are any of the straight screwdrivers that you don't use just turn one of them into an awl :tu: (of course you may not wanna do that to your only Pulse) If ya ever got another I would definitely do that :D

Ponch I was really hoping to just swap in the PST awl & that did not work  :( , but yeh the grinding one of the screw drivers is a option .

Crackin' little tool the Pulse. Definitely one of my favourites.

Good score Buffalo - it looks to be in great shape in the pictures?
I used to come here a lot.

Its got a few battle scars but everything works well. One of the plier arms is a bit loose but otherwise its all good.

I gave it a clean and a polish and a few squirts of Breakfree. Scrubbed the sheath a bit too and its good to go!
