I also checked the website right after reading this, and the Bond was listed as available.

Just read this and went to the site and yes, they're back (last night, at 1139pm, were not available).
Can anyone buying today from LTG, please report back when your Bond arrives and tell if it had been modified? Thanks in advance!  :tu:

(Now I'm beginning to feel bad at not having a First Production Run tool  :bnghd: !!!!

I forgot to mention it in my original post, but my Bond dates are 10/20 for the file side, and 1/21 on the knife side.  I did buy mine online...not directly from Leatherman.

I will check for each side of mine later and see if they are the same :salute: I also bought it online and not directly from Leatherman but from a LM dealer

My datestamp comment was obviously made in jest, but now I'm interested in comparing, too! I got mine from REI, it is also 1020 file side, 0121 knife side. We are such dorks.

Received mine yesterday.  I’ll carry it for a few days and see what I think.  First impression - decent and simple.  I don’t really understand all the concern about the blade popping up, I just don’t see that happening in my use of it.

Just a couple of comparison pics between the 1997 PST and the 2021 Bond.  The Bond is slightly larger and obviously tighter than the well broken in PST. Some of the tools have been moved and some improvements are apparent. Overall, after 1 day, I believe I’ll like the Bond better because it’s just a bit beefier and feels a bit more comfortable in my hand.

I love the comparison pics!!  Thanks for sharing.  The two tools are so similar, it really does seem the Bond is the modern day Leatherman rendition of the original PST.  So glad Leatherman is tossing those of us who still love those old school multitools a bone.

I like the Bond.  I'm not sure it will replace the Wave as my go-to tool.  But, it could...

I hear you...the Bond has quickly become a favorite for me and has replaced my edc Squirt (at least for the time being).
