Hey Nix
The Stack Challenge was a favorite of mine, and you're right about too many implements for just 60 days, we'll see

Not a challenge , but Buzzbait has been living with one for the last 2 1/2 years if I remember correctly. He'd be the man to see for top tips and uses and carry options one would imagine

Can I get in on this? I carry my Swisschamp regularly already so I think I can handle 60 days.

There's a YouTuber called NikGyver who says he's carried a Swiss Champ for over 20 years. He's put together a lot of videos with very creative SAK uses. I especially liked when he used his wood saw as a pole saw and the pliers as an extended-reach grabber.

SAKs:
58mm: Bijou (3), Classic SD (7), Mini Champ Plus (mod), Alox Classic SD, Rambler (3), Companion
65mm: Wenger Esquire
74mm: Executive (2)
85mm: Traveler, Delemont S10, Bass
91mm: Champion "c", Swiss Champ (4), Explorer (3), Deluxe Tinker, Huntsman, Serrated Spartan/Weekender, Explorer Plus, Deluxe Explorer Plus (mod), Outdoorsman Plus, Champion "a", Champion Plus, Timekeeper Alarm, Golfer
93mm: Pioneer Alox

That's a fantastic video review.  I just tried the antenna trick and it didn't work on my phone.

I used a vhf radio antenna on a patrol car to get signal on an old flip phone many years ago.  I'm looking forward to trying the tweezers :D

I just tried it again, and it does work as long as I keep touching the tweezers.  So, it should work fine with a length of wire attached to the tweezers.

Good deal!  Sort of a micro rabbit ears antenna.

I was thinking still using the tweezers for the connection, but inserting the stripped end of the length of wire in the "v" of the tweezers.

Great video - why's this guy not on the forum?  :dunno:

Maybe he's still trying to get his ladder, so he can get down from the roof...  :pok:

Be sure to check out NikGyver's other videos. He's done a bunch of tool-specific videos also, like tips just for the SAK pliers. I've been going through all of them, lots of great stuff.

I'm guessing you all know about Felix Immler, another YouTuber, already as I've seen his name mentioned in other threads in the forum. He's got some great SAK uses, too.

My wife got me Felix's Book. Fun stuff.

And he makes great SAK video. I suggested a couple of ideas to him--he was really receptive and friendly. Seems like a good guy.   :tu:

My wife got us one of his whittling books, and I agree Nix.  He would be fun to hang out with methinks.
