Nice job, RF; it looks that the crimper is quite functional ( haven't used it from the Rebar, Wave, or ST300) so, I'll give it a go next time. Thanks for the finished product picture!

Day 2

Not much going on now so, just a beauty picture with my pal here...

Day 2

Breaking down a bundle of 2x4s. The replaceable cutters are excellent for cutting plastic strapping, more efficient than the standard plier cutters. Also pulled staples from the boards.

Day 2: Tested the wire stripper and crimper when making a extension cable for my multimeter at work:tu:

Nice!  I have trouble getting multitool wire strippers like that to work decently... I guess I need more practice.

Hello day 3
Nice moon pic Adam5.
Today was a bit of work. The cooling fan in the ice machine stopped making noises which meant the machine stopped working.
Out with the old and I will see if I can find a spare.

@Juan el Boricua @Rich_SD First time trying out the wire stripper and the crimper, the crimper does a good job, the wire stripper not so much :tu: Easier and faster to use the wire cutter or one of the blades carefully :tu:

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have done this challenge  So just 30 days for me  It will give me 1 day to prepare for the January Toolbox Challenge  :ahhh

Also, I could have sworn I typed the day in ??? fixed now :salute: :D

In such case I will allow it  :D
It's the first ever challenge for me and I took it mainly to ease the anxiety of choosing a knife/tool for the day (which is even bigger if I'll be away from the toys for a few days). And the more the accumulation of knives and MTs grows the tougher it gets  :mn: . So for this month it's kind of decided already  :multi:

Great moon pic Adam  :2tu:

                          Day 2

Today I used the flat head and the pliers to take out few staples. Then the pliers to get a fresh edge on the utility knife.

Day 2

I've been playing with my Rebar all day during teleconferences, hoping to work it in a little.  Just now, the Rebar blade helped a new friend escape its packaging and join the party...

I would agree with this on the wire stripper. Maybe I’m just showing my age but I do find it faster to use the blade to cut thru insulation to strip a wire. Or the pliers.

:iagree: and, I'm also known to "bite softly" into the insulation with the wire cutters (molded in or replaceables) and peel!

Totally agree with all of you. I find the blade or the wire cutters to be much easier to use than the wire stripper notch. It is one of those things you should not do unless you know how to do it properly.

Thanks for everybody's compliments on this morning's photo. I have been really busy during the day and have not been able to photos of the Rebar in use (and it has been used a lot!). So, I make sure to take one at the shop everyday. Sometimes I come up with a decent shot, othertimes it is not so interesting. Today's shot just came to me as I was looking around.

Day 3

December 3

For a little lolz today - I used the Rebar to remove a hex bit stuck inside a bit adapter

Good thing I managed to pull it out - I threatened to use the Crunch if it still didn’t want to detach.

I do hate when that happens  I try to either use only the LM flat bits or longer 1/4 inch bits these days :ahhh

Day 3 of 30

Decided to swap over to BO for a few days :woohoo:

BO Friday seemed like a good day to do this ;)

Not pictured but this one has a Nite Ize clip on it and seems pretty secure  :salute:

Hi Poncho, is the clip on the tool edge or plier edge? It’s on the side with the ‘Leatherman’ name?

Excellent challenge so far everyone, unfortunately a multitool hasn't been possible for me at the onset, so I'll just be admiring from the sidelines

A picture will tell you better :tu:  I didn't put it on, I bought it for a good price with the clip already on and the letters whited out :salute:
