I had a similar problem last week!  I thought each word was a slam dunk and kept coming up wrong.

It's disappointing to try to invent 5 letter words that don't exist in English.
I don't even know what today's word means, it just occurred me as a brand name.

But, it is a normal, every day English word.  What is hilarious is that Megan is doing it after me, and after putting in her first word she said "a swing and a miss" which I found hilarious considering what the answer was!

I change. But now I chose OCEAN. It's nice because it has AEO in one word. Now, if there is a word that also contains I or C, K, T or S, I would like to know it.

In my language, Α and Σ (s) are the commonest, followed by Ε, O and I and then several consonants, such as Κ, Π, Τ Μ, etc.

An analysis of the Concise Oxford Dictionary (9th Edition, 1995) found the 12 most common letters were:

E (in 11.16 percent of words)
A (8.45 percent)
R (7.58 percent)
I (7.54 percent)
O (7.16 percent)
T (6.95 percent)
N (6.65 percent)
S (5.74 percent)
L (5.49 percent)
C (4.54 percent)
U (3.63 percent)
D (3.38 percent)

So, with OCEAN I get 3 of the 5 commonest letters. The word ORAIE contains all 5, but it doesn't exist in English (in Greek it means "Beautiful" in calling voice).

AERIO means gas (you simply say "air"). That would be a nice starter, if legal.

So, now you know that OREO (simply spelled) means beautiful (Nominal Voice). And IKEA means "home".
