Anything new or discontinued in 2022?

Fellow knights,

I wonder if any of you is in the know or heard from reliable sources what might be on Victorinox' agenda for 2022? I heard that the Swiss Spirit series of SAKs is discontinued, as are supposedly the yearly Damast LEs, but that's pretty old news.

74mm line confirmed discontinued by Vic (although that was sometime in 2021.)

New versions of the multipliers with pocket clips and OHO.

If by Swiss Spirit you mean Swisstool Spirit (the pliers based muti tool) then, the only one that had been recently d/c'ed is the XC around 2019-20. The X had become the baseline model, and the MX series has been recently introduced with OHO blades as the primary feature; the MX (replacement) pocket clip works on all 2001-present Swisstool Spirit models so, no, I do not think that Victorinox is ending the Spirit line.

Edit- Also new is a Swisstool MX with the OHO blades too, and available pocket clip; both the Swisstool and Swisstool Spirit MX series are available also in black!

Looks as if I created some confusion, sorry about that. With "Swiss Spirit" I meant to refer to a line of yearly limited edition SAKs.

I want to get more of Swiss Knife Shop's blue Alox Bantams. However, they disappeared from the Web site. I've sent an e-mail enquiring as to whether they'll return. (Knife Center shows their red Alox Bantam is "currently unavailable," and I might have to pick up the black one out of pure FOMO.)

I'll update when I hear back from Swiss Knife Shop. My fingers are crossed that the Bantam hasn't followed the 74mm line out of production.

Hard to imagine Vic would discontinue the Bantam unless they discontinue the whole 84 mm line of SAKs. It's quite a classic and Victorinox seldom messes with those.If they kill something, they usually go for fancier variants. Probably the shop's stock of shop edition coloured Bantams just ran out.

Both good and bad news. The blue Alox Bantam is no longer available, but they're releasing another one...the Alox Bantam is not discontinued!

Edit: I doubt Knife Center has discontinued their red and black Alox Bantams. They more than likely sold their stock of the red ones and do not know when the next round is coming in.
