To answer one of your questions Zoid;

I need a heavy duty tool at work & the OG SwissTool is just that. I'd carry it for work EDC if it was OHO (like the new MXBS version*)

Obviously, I will post my trials & tribulations at the end of the challenge  ;)

* I'll probably get one anyway but they're out of stock (in the UK) at the moment and it's £205  :o

Merit Badges In the spirit of the Batman utility belt. A 30 day challenge were you have to have at least 2 things clipped to your belt (preferably more). So, these are my only options (so far  :whistle:)

The SwissTool will be for work (Bigger, Heavy Duty)

The MXBS will be for home (Smaller, Light Duty)

The Bit-Kit will have to be used at home/off duty as carrying to/from work will be more hassle than it's worth  ::)

Clear winner for me is the Spirit despite the scissors. The Swisstool is too heavy for EDC and the pliers are uncomfortable to use. But that's only me  :D

Well I read about those scissors all the time and yep they do feel kinda different and not as impressive at a first glance, but seem to do the job just as good at least. Since I only finally got my Spirit recently I’m really looking forward to give it’s scissors a decent assessment during our challenge

One thing that I'll definitely say for the Spirit is that it's every bit as rugged as its big brother.  The scissors are different but they're serviceable.  It's almost like Vic had a heavier duty purpose in mind for them.
