These are very cool, but I have never needed to use a voltmeter before.  For someone like me, is there common use that I'm missing out on?

Random stuff I've recently used it for:

Testing a laptop power supply and DC jack cable to make sure the power makes it to the motherboard.
Troubleshooting an individually addressable LED strip when it wouldn't light up further down the chain.
Going through a car battery supply at my local towing company to find which car batteries I wanted to buy.
Watching a motorcycle battery voltage drop after being fresh off the charger.

I don't know why I didn't think of this - testing power supplies/adapters is something I could use!  How accurate is your voltmeter?  It would seem that it wouldn't be as accurate as an actual voltmeter, but I don't know crap about electricity.

I have tested next to high quality meters from 2.5V to 30VDC with a maximum deviation of 0.1V from actual. It's pretty darned accurate!

Every fraction of a volt counts in batteries, a car battery at rest @ 12.8V is 100% while 12.0V is 50%.

Is there an adapter for the Swisstool or can it slide under the clip okay?

Hello Awl
Hey this is a big  thank you to PC Doodle.
I bought 2 Voltys and gave a US shipping address. He shipped them separately  and one got lost somewhere.
He very kindly sent a new  one to my New Zealand address straight away and all at his cost.
It has arrived safely.

Thank you kind Sir.   :hatsoff: :salute:
