I have made my selections:

Klein 15-in-1 ratcheting screwdriver, Marbles GI jack knife, a single handle multitool that I had sent to Poncho for a possible mod that did not work out, a Multiforce single handle MT that I must have put in the box previously and then subsequently thought I had lost    , a Gerber Quadrant, a Gerber Mullet, and a Husky one piece tool



I have also made my additions and hope each of them will find a new home 
I just need to tape the box back up and then send it to AzteCypher. I will try to make that happen before the end of the week.

Also labels). Shipping will cost $18.40 unless it has changed again.  Ship the box to the next recipient as they will PM you their address.  Get you name on the list.  G

Best to clear everyone out of the landing zone. A box that heavy is going to leave a big impact crater.  We wouldn't want anyone to get hurt or crushed by the box.

I don't know sir.  Near as I can tell it tracked toward Austin and then just.... disappeared.

    Disappeared!  Disappeared?  Well you better find it.  Something that big has to have left a trace.  If that radar scope doesn't fit your hand, I can find a paint brush and pail that will.  Am I understood?

   Last time I had it, the box kept going to and from Greenville, SC.  I noticed that the USPS say they are going to start making some deliveries more slowly.  Not sure what that means.  Could be an old man on a dog cart.  Best wishes.  G

Some follow up questions. Is it kind of a “one in-one out” thing? Is there a suggested or preferred method of picking items out? I have some thoughts on what I might add to the box already. We will see. Also, I’m currently the last one on the list. If no one else joins before I get the box, should I send it back around to Poncho? Someone else?

It is NOT a tic for tack  type of procedure.

But, the box has grown because, members are often more generous with the give back.

I f you are the last on the list, hang tight with the box, another will step up and join the list and they will provide their address to you via Private Message.

Share the package inspection with wife or children, grandchildren and replace items only if have items to share.
The cost of admission is the postage to the box’s next stop.  The bonus is seeing a member SELECT an item you may have contributed.

   Since it seems you are on the site quite a bit, pay attention to what the fellas ahead of you are doing.  Notice that none of them take photos or make a list of what is in the box to post them.  A BIG NO NO.  Half the fun is watching what the other guys are doing.  Post a photo of what you keep, NOT what was in the box when you get it.  I personally don't like the idea of saying how much the box weighed before and after.  No sense in getting people speculating.  There's plenty for everybody.
   There is room for abuse in the game, but personally I can't think of a single person who has abused the system.  If you get stuck with the box for a while (shouldn't happen) sit tight.  Someone always steps in.  If you only wanted ONE item out of the box, chances are it will be worth more than the $18.40 shipping cost to the next recipient.   Best wishes.  G

   I was horrified by the video posted by friend Aztec with the runaway equine on the homemade cart.  I can only assume that took place in Texas.  Maybe not.  At first I thought the thing in the rear of the cart was a witch or succubus of some sort, and the man hanging off the side was trying to decide whether it would be less painful to jump off the cart or try his luck with the fiend.  That would explain the extreme fear of the critter supplying the motive force.  Then I decided that it must be a man and wife hanging on for dear life and praying for the runaway to get tired and stop. 
   The second video demonstrated that you don't need a powerful gas wasting motor in your car.  Just one horsepower is plenty.  Best wishes.  G

Take whatever you want out of the box.  Adding items is entirely optional but you can add as much as you want to the box or at least as much as you can fit in the box if you're of a mind to.  Send the box to the next person on the list.  That's all there is to it.  Yes, the box has sometimes been stationary for months at a time.  I just can't imagine why it is so hard to give away free stuff.  If nobody wants the box right away, my suggestion is to seal it so it's ready to go and put it out of sight in the back of a closet somewhere or you'll be tempted to find something else to keep.  You're going to need to set aside an hour or two for picking through the box.  It has been very well packed lately to prevent loss.  Most similar items are bundled together in bubble wrap, or are sealed in Ziplock bags.  There are so many bundles and bags you're going to wonder how everything fits in the box.  There is a method to packing the box and it helps if you played Tetris back in the 1990s.

Apparently USPS in AzteCypher's area use carrier pigeons, and the box was delayed while they amassed a fleet big enough to handle the weight of that box.

So apparently the pigeons must be unionized or something as they refused to deliver outside of the Austin metropolitan area without an additional bird seed fee.  Outrageous!

I refused to pay the extortion seed and instead opted for a truck delivery which suited me just fine as I didn't have to clean up the poop storm the pigeons would've left behind.

 There was however, a slight... mishap.. upon it's arrival.  Perhaps it was a wee bit to heavy for the delivery truck.





But fret not good people, the box was still mostly intact.  Instead of it looking like it got run over by a truck, it only looked like it was tossed around by a bunch of gorillas, then mangled by a pack of wild hyenas.  I'll have to make time to sort through it tomorrow.
