I keep advertising via my signature about the GAW box but I'm not sure if anyone ever clicks on the link for it.  Maybe they do but are not sure if they want to deal with going to the post office to drop it off.

I think it's worth the effort and my son definitely does.  He's already asked when we're getting it again.......  :facepalm:

Well fellas, looks like the package may be running a bit late. Last location update was Louisiana yesterday (not close), and our mail lady has normally come and gone by this point. Unless they are going to drop it off in the front yard by helicopter, probably going to be a couple more days 😂

**edit, last location update was actually two days ago. Yesterday’s update was “moving through network.” From my understanding it says that automatically when there is no update.

The box is here! One of the sides is split with a huge hole. Would not be shocked if there was a trail of lost items from here to Texas  :ahhh 😂

   Make sure you pick up a new box and tape the heck out of it.  I got it once with a four inch long punch through the side.  Fortunately it wasn't where anything could escape.  There is $100 of insurance on these shipments.  Keep that in mind.  Best wishes.  G

The box was in pretty good condition when I got it . I added some supporting tape longways and across the top a few times just in case. The Shreveport USPS hub is a dark hole sometimes.  I've had boxes from there I think got caught under the truck .  :ahhh

Obviously mail handling.  I think I mailed the same box as I received one time and replaced the box twice.  There is a lot to be said for putting items inside the box in sandwich bags or something similar.  Maybe even put all the little bags into something like a kitchen sized trash bag.  You would need a bag that doesn't take up a lot of space inside.  Keeps them from just falling out part of the time anyway.  Putting items loose in the box looks like a recipe for loss.  Best wishes.  G

   Just one shipping hint.  When you pick up a medium flat rate box at the post office, be sure to pick up the free shipping labels.  Self-adhesive.  Address one and stick it on the box.  Be sure to tape over it with clear tape as well.  Best wishes.  G

Yes, duct tape is a no-go. They won't even give you one free pass with that; they'll just refuse to accept it. I would say to use a new box every time. All that weight and rough handling really take their toll.

The first time I got the box it was damaged and was missing a Spyderco Dragonfly, but that was a long time ago when it was a small box that only had 6 items in it, so it was easy to figure out what, if anything, was missing.  It would be nearly impossible to figure out if anything is missing now, out of a medium box that typically weighs over 10 pounds.  Unless everyone wants to start including an inventory list, the only thing we can do easily is a new box and lots of tape every time.  At least G-Dizzle got the box, and it's not still lost in postal purgatory traveling a continuous loop between Albuquerque and Memphis.

This one caught my eye because I like the Case Peanut. This is very similar to that, but made by Imperial in the US i think. Any info about it would be appreciated!

I like Buck knives, if you can’t tell. 😂 However, I do not know what the bigger one is, nor could I find any info on it! Again, would love to know about this one.

I think the cool kids refer to this type of thing as “pocket trash.” Not sure where the term originated. Really nice stuff. The kind of thing I think is cool, but wouldn’t/haven’t spent the money to buy myself. Maybe the dice will get some real use on a board game or two! The dice appear to be made by BLC Metal Works.

Would love to source a bit/band for the Piranha as well, if anyone has any tips on that let me know! I may try and make my own.

Nice selections! The Diamond Edge should say Providence RI, or Ireland.  I did an image search for the big Buck and had no luck.  It might have been part of a set and never sold by itself.  I like the dice too. Nice to fiddle with when you're bored. :cheers:
