. I'm looking forward to it. I think I'm going to carry my Opinel No 8 Outdoor and my butter blade Spirit.

I might just have bought something with a combo edge.If I have, it wont be here in time for 2/1, but it'll still be interesting to try it out. It's a bit larger than I'd normally carry for EDC, so I probably wont be able to do a full 30 anyways.I wanted something with a reasonable portion of each edge type to familiarize myself with CE. If I find it serves a purpose, I might look for a replacement that has the features I would like, but first I have to gain enough experience to know what those are.Challenge somewhat accepted
Feel free to join when you can, and just continue to a total of 30 days.
Day 1Yeah but nah….PST II(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
It's still January here and I have decided to join despite not having more than 2 CB and really don't liking them. But I won one a few days ago and it might be good to try it out and I have a OHO trekker that I don't use that muchForgot the pics [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
That Spatha is iconic! Lots of combo edge blades from the 80s and 90s are.

Day 1 (early)Also hopping on a day early to reduce the overlap with the vintage SAK challenge next month. I'll be carrying a 2011 Soldier, my daughter's BYSAK. It's just nice to have a full sized SAK in my pocket again, after having to carry other stuff for challenges for a few months. Used the main blade to open a Victorinox sharpener that I got a good deal on last week. Not sure the serrated blade made any difference here, but did definitely open the package. Day 2I use a #8 in the kitchen every day so knew I’d have no problem switching the CE version, worked a charm Potato salad with chives, dill, mayo and Greek yoghurt (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
Hi BPR, FYI the vintage SAK challenge is May, I'm doing the Rebar challenge in March and hopefully Fools of April after that, hence May
