Age and value?

Hello everyone. I was advised to join this forum to get the advice of people more knowledgeable than myself on these knives. I'm about to list this little Classic SD on eBay and because the shield is an older design, I just wanted to make sure this one didn't have more value than all the others. After looking at the tang stamps on knivesgear.com, it's showing the date range from '52-'86, but I don't know if that's accurate or a reputable source. Anything you could tell me would help. 

And after trying to take a photo 3 times, it keeps giving me an error code. Maybe the file size is too large. I'm just filling this out and trying to take a photo with my phone. Oh well, I'll post this anyway.

Welcome to the forum.  File size is limited for pictures which very well might be the error you're experiencing.

That appears to be an Ecoline Victorinox classic
