Day 22
Cut the tag off a Halloween decoration.  Also need the small flat driver to remove a test wire

Odd use #5621A.

Scraping random stuff off the floor while mopping.

Do this very often because my daughter loves wax wrapped cheese and isn’t very worried where the wrapper ends up.

Day 22

Used my Spirit to open a package with another knife...FINALLY... got a Swiss Champ XLT! Could only verify that it was all in working order and my wife confiscated it until Christmas.  Now the painful wait....lol. I can enjoy my other MTs until then.

Day 22

Quiet Sunday on the home front, blue skies, no where’s in particular to be, getting ready to start laundry, and pack for upcoming adventure south of the border.

Required a Phillips to tighten  a cover,  and Spirit did the task.
Then compared it to the PST, a shorter reach.

And, an update to Saturdays band competition, grandson’s band qualified in the top ten to move on to State next weekend.  👍

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 23

Was looking forward to showing you my Spirit with its new clip, however on opening the package it appears to be broken.

The screw has no thread and the hole already has what I assume to be the rest of the screw in it. Sold to me as a new item on eBay, have just contacted the seller for a replacement or refund

Thank you Barry

They work hard all season and performances always entertaining yet precise.

Saturday they dealt with high winds, equipment blown over yet carried on with out fail.

There were nineteen other bands and all were amazing, this is our 36th consecutive year making the state finals which is a big deal.

The Spirit opened and cut off the tag on a gift from a neighbor for Fisher.  He will not allow it to be put on his head but he loved playing with it.

Day 22

Several uses today, but my wife snapped a pic of me slicing this scone with the butterblade. Also used to spread jelly.

Only Tools Matters
Hmm just noticed that my other half of text was missing.
So i needed to reinstall safety doorchain back on since our electronic lock has issues and it could be opened similar keys, locksmith updated lock 2 days ago and yesterday we tested our neighbours key and it opened (we were joking about how absurd it would be if locks could be opened with neighbours key)

Nice to see a scone. I'm sure the butter blade made short work of it. Most importantly what flavour jelly?  :like:

Good use, and it gets me thinking--I use the small blade on my 91mm 90% of the time, maybe having a serrated blade for the large blade would encourage me more to make better use of it?

Wow, anything done consecutively for 36 years is a pretty big deal, especially there are so many elements in a band.  Congrats to him and his team, that's awesome!

Day 23 of 60

Today used Awl and Chisel mainly, chisel to open boxes and awl for poking marks on plywood before drilling, needed to install shelfs on our site and didnt have drill near so made good excuse to use awl to mark those holes before we got drill there.

So many mice. Used the scissors to help separate some stubborn glue traps.  Not much else’s going on today.
