Day 30No use day. How's everyone carrying their Spirit? I usually grab the sheath on the weekends, but during the week it sits in my back pocket with a bandana.
Day 30Kid dropped something in the car and couldn’t reach with my hand. Pliers retrieved it. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] I made it halfway, but this is where I need to tap out. Won’t be able to keep up as we move into Nov. great job so far everyone!
I carry my Spitit usually in hip on modded Gerber Centerdrive sheat ( added buckle after velcro weared off). This sheat is maybe on of the best vertical carry i have ever used. Sometimes it just goes in my pocket, im thinking soon buying pocketclip to it, but im not sure do i want that clip for my SwissTool MXBS or my Spirit (diffrent colors)Only Tools Matters
Day 31Tightened some bolts in my studio rack (Image removed from quote.)
Great job everyone on completing the first 30 days. I had to drop out after being called away for another week after I'd already started a week late due to my travels. I expect I might be hitting the road again before this next month is over but I have been following the thread all along when I had internet access.
Day 31: A challenge tradition of mine, tea bag retrieval. Still haven't found anything as good as the scaler.
Im sure that someone of you have boughted Pocket clip for Spirit, does those clips goes to SwissTools? If i correctly looked there is 2 diffrent models on sale, other goes only to Spirit and other goes SwissTool.Only Tools Matters
I tried retro fit the Spirit pocket clip onto a Swisstool, but as you can see there is difference between clip hole and it does affect how well the clip would lock onto the chassis. You could sort of screw the Spirit clip onto a Swisstool no problem, but it will be tilted to the side and the clip couldn't latch onto the clip hole at all, since the designs are quite different.
*Day 31* (make up)(Image removed from quote.)Happy Halloween to everyone, Spirit makes a coffee mid afternoon to keep me going for the day.
Nice use! I don't really need a pliers usually on a day-to-day basis, but absolutely love having one when I go camping, pliers are perfect for grabbing pot or pot lid off when cooking.
Day 32 of 60Again chisel was in action at work, it so fun and easy way to open packages.(Image removed from quote.)Only Tools Matters
Missed posting the last few days. Trying to get stuff done around the house. Still carrying. I used the large flathead to turn the water off to a urinal that was not draining properly. Fun stuff. Used the pliers to bend a locker hook that wasn’t sitting properly. No action shots, but here’s a glamour shot.
Day 32 (I can't just use the date anymore )Sliced a Costco dog in half to share as a snack with my wife when we ran errands before dinner.
