And even more.  The black raccoon looks strange because it is a skunk.  Enough wildlife feeding frenzy.  Best wishes.  G

That's a lot of critters!

MCNTR DAY 30 OF 30  :woohoo:

Congratulations to everyone for successfully completing the MiniChamp November to Remember Challenge! it's been a great month we laughed, we cried and we have accomplished the impossible using only a 58 mm tool!

You all should be very proud because you've proved you have the deftness and prowess to endure what others were afraid to endure.  :ahhh

Those who have completed the challenge can apply for the official MCNTR Badge.

here is the thread with directions on how to apply

used those great 58 mm scissors again- this time to trim back the dead stuff off a banana plant.

it was difficult to do one handed while holding the camera with the other hand but persevered nonetheless :salute:

DAY 30! :nanadance:

Thanks to Vicman for the encouragement!

Great pics and uses by all of you!

I like lots of tools and the MCs check that box.  I had to call in reinforcements once or twice, but I could get by with either version of the MC.  I left it up to Pete and Tank to pic a winner.  Tank liked the taste of both, but Pete was ambivalent, so we'll call it a tie between old/new MC.

Due to an already crazy schedule and a family injury this month it really put a monkey wrench in me having enough time to respond to everyone's posts. My MIL fell down and broke her hip  :( it's a bummer and has made for an interesting month of running back-and-forth to the hospital etc.  :ahhh

luckily we've got an awesome member like VICMAN who picked up the slack! So a BIG  Shout Out and thank you to VICMAN for being so attentive to everyone's posts during this challenge!

Let's give him a round of applause shall we?

And how about a little song...

Wow!.....30 days with an MC and not a look in for anything else!.......today's sordid tale involves photography, spring water, and a lost MC.......working on a project locally, with hoar frost in the air, I went out to photograph a spring from which I collect water for various tasks......photo session went well until I realised that I was missing the MC.......looking round the outflow, the spirit of the spring had caught the MC as it dropped and placed it on a stone at the mouth of the spring........the moral of my tale is if you drop your MC, always be nice to the spirit of the spring and she will save your SAK from further trauma  :tu:

.....and to everyone, it has been a really enjoyable month of November, reading the diverse ways we all use the MC......so thank you

A rather mundane finish for the challenge, this year.  I was hoping for something a bit more special for the last day but I had to de-tag my new hat and my MiniChamp was perfect for the job.
Thanks everyone for their pics this month.
Nice to see them.

Day 30

Opening up a Christmas present for the wife so I can wrap it later.

This was a fun challenge.  I'm surprised what all I could do with the Minichamp.  It'll definitely be carrying it with me from here on forward.  It's been fun reading everyone's posts.

Cheers!

It's just barely lunch time for me in the Pacific time zone, so I'll make my Day 30 post later. But thanks for the challenge!

I enjoyed it and it was fun to use a SAK I didn't have much experience with before. I did need a larger SAK a couple of times, mostly with regard to Phillips screws that were too large for the 58mm version of the tool.

I'm definitely not going to give up on 91mm SAKs and.... I think I'll be going back to my Rambler for my preferred 58mm. I really didn't find the extra tools on the Minichamp to be worth the additional bulk of the larger SAK, personally.
