I'm eyeballing all the "multitool"/outdoor models now, and I have a bid in on a carbone no 7. I think the 8 is a bit big and the 7 a bit small, it should be just right.
I have one, and it's a nice size for around the house or camping. To ride in the pocket and take to work, it's a little bigger than I like.
