Day 10

Cutting fruit, opening beans, fixing. We have a mini ring toss game made of cheap pressed wood and stapled together. One piece came off when a kid tripped on it and exposed about a dozen staples. I first tried the Kick to pull them out, but it worked better to just depress with the cap lifted and glue them back together.

Pretty busy day today otherwise. Used the toothpick to test if cupcakes were done. I think I used the scissors to cut tags, but can’t remember if that was today!

The plastic shrink wrap bottle cap sealer did not want to tear away and there was no perforated segment either.  Explorer short blade made short work of a vertical slice on the side of the bottle.  Now we can enjoy some Yum-Yum sauce.

Day 13
I used the inline Phillips driver to remove the light kit on a ceiling fan so I could replace the 3 way pull chain switch that controls the fan.  I really, really, really like the inline Phillips.  I couldn't have done it with a backside Phillips as there wouldn't have been any room to turn it.

Another great day from awl, especially the "through the magnifier" shots! :tu: I'm starting to see the value in that layer, and I'm thinking it would be really cool to mod into a Pioneer or a Tinker.

This is the reason I don’t go with a tinker model. I just don’t think I’d get into as many uses compared wjth the Explorer.

It’s no wonder we’ve had a couple mustache trim uses so far Vic scissors are wonderful for grooming.

Loving the cigar posts. I haven’t had time to sit down and enjoy one in a while so I’m living vicariously through you awl.

Lots of good stuff today! I have never used steel wool as a gap filler, but I'm now wondering what effect strawberries would have on a carbon steel blade. And I will have to remove a trim piece from my car's interior eventually. Getting new brakes is much more important.
